Please make sure to look at posted deadlines and make sure to read on the application if you must mail or deliver directly to their organization or office address. The only scholarships that will be collected in the counseling center are the ones that give you that option.

Myers Family Scholarship
Is open to BUHS graduating Seniors. Two $1000.00 scholarships will be awarded. Students must be planning to attend a four-year university. Scholarship money will be sent directly to the university upon proof of enrollment. Brawley Elementary Teachers' Association 2021 Scholarship ****DEADLINE HAS BEEN CHANGED TO MONDAY, MAY 3, 2021****
Senior Applicant must have attended Brawley Elementary public school (K-8). Student must have a minimum 3.0 G.P.A. to apply. Application is now available to download here B.E.T.A. California Retired Teachers of Imperial Valley (CalRTA)
Is offering up to 4 scholarships of $400 each. Applicant must be planning to attend Imperial Valley College and applicant's major must be in the field of Education. Brawley Senior Get Together Club Scholarship
For a student who will be attending a community college, trade or vocational program, or four-year university. Must have at least a 2.0 cumulative G.P.A. to apply. Imperial Valley Society of Outreach and Leadership (IVSOL)
Must originate from the Imperial Valley, California and must be currently finishing their senior year at a high school located in the Imperial County. California Association of State and Federal Education Programs - CAASFEP Scholarship Application
Honoring past presidents, Ron Fontaine and Elizabeth Pinkerton, for their lifelong dedication to the education of students by awarding four $2500 scholarships to graduating seniors. You must be a high school senior planning to attend an accredited college or university, have demonstrated leadership in school or community activities, demonstrate financial need, and must have a minimum 3.0 GPA to apply. You must also be sponsored by a current member of CAASFEP (Mr. Munguia, Mrs. Munguia, Mrs. Treviño, and Mr. Sanchez are members). Abbott & Fenner Business Consultants Scholarship
Are pleased to be able to continue with our scholarship program for the 15th year. We will be awarding $1000.00 to the winner. Brawley Elks Scholarship
The Elks National Foundation is proud to announce the start of the 2021 Most Valuable Student scholarship contest. The Most Valuable Student scholarship is available to high school seniors. Applicants do not need to be related to a member of the Elks. Applications are judged on academics, leadership, service and financial need. The application is completed online and must be submitted by the November 15, 2020 deadline. The 500 national winners will be announced in April 2021. Tenaska Scholarship (Deadline Approaching Don't forget to Apply!!!)
Must be a 2020 graduating high school senior from a participating public secondary school who plans to attend a two- or four-year post-secondary education program at an accredited institution. • Family members of Tenaska employees are not eligible to receive scholarship funds from this program. 2021 American Legion Post 60 Scholarship
The American Legion Post 60 will award scholarships to qualified students who are enrolled or are currently waiting on their acceptance to an accredited career technical school, community college or university in the United States. A total of five, $500 dollar scholarships will be awarded to students. 2021 Brad Fowler Memorial Scholarship - Deadline extended to March 19, 2021
A unique scholarship opportunity made available by the San Diego Sports Association. The Brad Fowler Memorial Scholarship offers a $5000 scholarship to at least five high school seniors in San Diego County. A second scholarship of $5000 can also be earned, provided the recipient remains in good academic standing following the first year of college, for a total possible scholarship award of $10,000. You must have nomination form filled out by a coach, teacher, or your counselor. Imperial Valley PEO Reciprocity Scholarship
This scholarship is now available to any Imperial Valley women attending high school who will be accepted to a four-year university/College or a community college/trade school. You must a have a minimum 3.0 GPA to apply. Special consideration will be given to women studying any field of Agriculture, but not limited to that field. Claddagh Club of Imperial Valley Irish-American Friendship Club Educational Scholarship 2021
Applicants must be a U.S. Citizen, graduating senior with a minimum 3.5 G.P.A. and planning to attend College in Fall of 2021. Fowlers Scholars Program Scholarship - For students who have been admitted into the Fowler College of Business at SDSU
Acceptance and continued participation in the Fowler Scholars Program carries with it a $28,000 (over four years) financial award, plus a paid international experience.
In addition to the financial award and international experience, program participants will also complete an approved internship, will be enrolled in a weekly seminar course led by experienced industry leaders, participate and lead Service Learning Projects, and have access to special university, industry, and community networking opportunities. The Fowler Scholars program is designed with the goal of preparing students for important leadership roles after graduating from SDSU.

2021 Association of California School Administrators Scholarship
Region 18 of the Association of California School Administrators (San Diego and Imperial Counties) and the San Diego County School Boards Association are again pleased to offer ten (10) $1,000 scholarships as a result of donations made by both organizations and our generous business partners. Our scholarships provide an award for ten (10) high school seniors who meet the following criteria: 1) pursuing a career in education as a teacher or other certificated employee; 2) attended high school in the San Diego/Imperial Counties area; 3) shown proven academic success with at least a 3.3 cumulative grade point average: 4) involved in community service; and (5) may not necessarily qualify for other financial aid. The Imperial Valley Regional Occupational Program Community Foundation Scholarship
You must be planning to enroll in a career technical school, community college or university in the United States next school year. Imperial Valley Raider Nation Booster Club Scholarship
This scholarship is being offered to a student who is a Senior and has either been an athlete while attending their high school or been involved with the community. Students must be planning to attend a junior college or university and plan to continue with sports. CMWF Heritage Foundation Scholarship
Is offering scholarships to residents of Imperial County who have chosen a field of study in continuing their education in technology school, trade school or a two‐year college. The applicant’s interest will be in welding, agricultural mechanical, electrical, livestock, auctioneering, agricultural business or other similar fields. Applicants must be enrolled or have been enrolled in Future Farmers of America (FFA), 4H, and Independent or ROP program. All information on the application form must be filled out and include the applicants written explanation of why they are interested in this scholarship. The scholarship award will be a minimum of $250 and a maximum of $500. Applicants must have a minimum 2.5 G.P.A. to apply. Frankie L. Chavez Memorial 2021 Scholarship

Hidalgo Society Inc. 2021 Scholarship

2021 Imperial County Farm Bureau Scholarship
To residents of Imperial County who have chosen a field of study that supports their goal of an agriculture-related career. Open to high school seniors who will be attending college full-time in the fall. Minimum 2.5 G.P.A. needed to apply. MANA de Imperial Valley Scholarship
MANA, a National Latina Organization, is proud to offer competitive college and university scholarships to local Imperial Valley high school graduates. Be a student who is committed to supportin the mission of MANA de Imperial Valley. Must have a minimum 2.75 G.P.A. and have plans to transfer to a four year U.S. accredited institution or technical college during the 2021-2022 academic year. Imperial Valley Women for Agriculture Scholarship 2021
Must be a female resident or high school graduate from Imperial County. 1) Must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree, an associate’s degree, or a degree from an accredited trade school in agriculture or related subject area with the intention to pursue a career within the agriculture industry. This scholarship is only for undergraduate degrees and trade schools. 2) If applicant is in high school when applying, they must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. 3) If the applicant is enrolled in a college or trade school when applying, they must have a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher. Imperial Valley Vegetable Growers Association 2021 Scholarship Application
For students from the Imperial Valley who wish to continue their studies in agriculturally related majors. The scholarship is for students who are planning to attend a four-year college or university. Student applicants must have a minimum 3.3 G.P.A. to apply. Scholarships available are:
Imperial Valley Produce Scholarship (generally one $2000 scholarship with additional ones awarded from $250 to $1500.00)
Ed McGrew Scholarship (generally between $100 to $500) Applicant must be enrolled at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.

Is awarding $500 dollar scholarships to students who will be attending a four-year university, junior college, or technical school. Must have a minimum 3.8 G.P.A. to apply. Association of California School Administrators Scholarship (Region 18 Imperial Valley Charter)
For students who have been accepted to a four-year university/college or students planning to attend Imperial Valley College. Two $500.00 scholarships to students from each public Imperial County Comprehensive High School and one $250 scholarship to a student at each accredited Continuation High School will be awarded. SCAG Scholarship Program
The SCAG Scholarship Program offers local government and planning experience that students can use to develop long-term career goals. The scholarship will provide a $4,000 scholarship award for seven high school or community college students from the SCAG region (and potentially two additional scholarship awards that are not tied to a specific county, but would be awarded at the Regional Council’s discretion), a two-week internship with a local planning agency or council of governments, and the opportunity to meet with elected officials and practicing planners to learn more about careers in public service.
To Apply for the SCAG Scholarship Program, Students Must Submit:
- Completed online application.
- Minimum five-hundred (500) word essay describing your interest in urban planning, public policy, and/or public service and future career goals.
- Two (2) letters of recommendation from individuals (e.g., teacher, counselor, coach, employer, etc.) that are not related to you and can attest to your leadership ability and interest in public service. Letters of recommendation can either be: 1) Uploaded when you complete the online application; or 2) Emailed to the Scholarship Program Coordinator directly.
- Transcript(s) (official or copy) from the school in which you are currently enrolled. Community college students must provide both high school and community college transcripts.
All materials for the 2021 SCAG Scholarship Program must be submitted by Friday, April 23, 2021.
Wildcat Women Scholarship Foundation 2021 ***** EXTENDED DEADLINE TO FRIDAY, APRIL 30, 2021 *******
Wildcat Women is offering scholarships to graduating senior women from Brawley Union High School and one senior woman from Desert Valley High School. Four scholarships of $1,000 each to BUHS or DVHS senior women with a GPA of 2.2 or better. The application is available as a Google form. Applicant must be accepted to a four-year university, planning to pursue a bachelor's degree, and have done community service. 2021 Brawley FFA Booster Club Scholarship
Scholarships will be awarded to Brawley Union High School Seniors in recognition of service, leadership, and academics, for the purpose of encouraging the recipients to continue their education at a career technical school, junior college or 4-year university. Open to Brawley High School seniors that will be attending college full-time in the Fall & with a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average. Sun Community Federal Credit Union Scholarship
Must be a 2021 high school graduate who will be attending a college or university in the Fall of 2021, must have a G.P.A. of 3.0 or better, and be a member of Sun Community Federal Credit Union with an active account. Republic Services of Imperial Valley 2021 Scholarship
Three $1000 scholarships will be awarded to Brawley Union High School Seniors. To be eligible to apply student must be planning to attend a community college, technical school, or university and have a minimum 3.0 G.P.A. Foundation for Education Scholarships
The Foundation for Education will provide ten $500 scholarships to:
- Students in alternative education/continuation schools, and
- Students with special needs
who will attend a career technical school, community college, or university in Fall 2021.
Students who wish to apply may submit a personal essay or a video, along with a completed application, two letters of recommendation, and their high school transcript.
For eligibility requirements and additional information on how to apply, please review the attached application packet.
(The deadline to submit a scholarship application is 5:00 pm on Friday, April 30, 2021.)
Note: The Foundation for Education will also sponsor a student to attend the 2021 Academic Connections Program.
Students from 9th through 12th grade (at least 14 years old before the program starts) enrolled in an alternative education/continuation school or part of a Special Education program are encouraged to apply for the 2021 Academic Connections Scholarship. Academic Connections provides an opportunity for high school students to get a jump start on the college experience. This year again, sessions will be taught online via zoom.
The deadline to submit a 2021 Academic Connections scholarship is 11:59 pm on Friday, April 16, 2021.

PEO Chapter WU Scholarship 2021 ***Update*** DEADLINE EXTENDED TO WEDNESDAY, APRIL 28, 2021 @ 3PM ******
This scholarship is offered to Senior girls who plan to begin their college education in the Imperial Valley with plans to finish at a 4 year college or university. The applicant should have a minimum 3.5 GPA. Special consideration is given to a girl who will be the first in her family to attend college. The Imperial Valley Masonic Scholarship 2021 - A program of Imperial Valley No. 390, Free and Accepted Masons of the State of California
Scholarships of $500-1,000 each may be awarded to graduating seniors who must be admitted to a two year or four year college/university, vocational school, or a United States Military Academy. North County Coalition for the Arts (NoCCA) - Patricia Shreves Saracco Lang Educational Arts Scholarship
Recognizing the need for an academic scholarship for the arts, North County Coalition for the Arts (NoCCA), established the Patricia Shreves Saracco Lang Educational Arts Scholarship. This merit based scholarship will be awarded to a limited number of deserving Imperial Valley high school seniors planning on continuing his or her career and/or education in the filed of visual or performing arts. Applicants will be evaluated on overall GPA, artistic ability, activities, and potential to contribute to the arts in the future.
