Brawley Union High School hosted a powerful and engaging assembly in honor of Black History Month.

The school welcomed Ame Kora, an incredible musical group from Senegal, West Africa. Their performance featured traditional drumming and the kora, a 21‑string West African instrument with a rich cultural history. Ame Kora has performed across Africa, Europe, Mexico, and now—right here at Brawley.

A huge congratulations to the African American Heritage Club and ASB for organizing such an inspiring event.
