Brawley Union High School District is proud to announce that Diana Renteria, Data Entry Specialist, has been selected as the 2026 Imperial County Classified School Employee of the Year. This honor highlights her leadership, dedication, and commitment to our district’s motto: Excellence is Our Standard.

The Classified School Employees of the Year (CSEY) program celebrates the essential work of classified staff who support more than 35,000 students across Imperial County. Following her county‑level recognition, ICOE has nominated Ms. Renteria for the California Department of Education’s statewide award.
Honored in the Clerical and Administrative Services category, Ms. Renteria plays a vital role in managing key district systems such as CALPADS, Aeries, and ParentSquare. She also leads online registration, personally assisting families from five feeder districts to ensure a smooth transition into high school. In addition, she supports district communications and is an active presence on campus, volunteering for ASB events, pep rallies, class activities, and student groups.
We congratulate Ms. Renteria on this well‑deserved recognition and thank her for the leadership, compassion, and excellence she brings to BUHSD every day.
