PUBLICATIONS:
Attention staff and students:

Yearbooks are almost sold out - 40 remain available for purchase! Yearbook Distribution started yesterday afternoon with seniors so please check dates below to see when you can pick up your yearbook from room 54 - yearbooks will be distributed after school only:

  • Underclassmen and all students: This Friday, May 24

  • Last Day to pick up your yearbook: next Tuesday, May 28

    • If you miss any of the above distribution dates, you will only be able to pick up yearbooks before school, during lunch or after school. 

    • Yearbooks will not be distributed during class time OR prior to your assigned distribution date and time under any circumstances.

If you have NOT purchased your 2024 yearbook, see purchase information below - once they're sold out, they're gone! 

  • Prices are currently $80 until we sell out! 

  • Online sales have ended, and only in-person sales with cash or checks are available and accepted in room 54 (before school, during nutrition break, tutorial, lunch or after school). 

    • Checks can be made out to BUHS Publications

      • CAASPP funds can be used for yearbook purchases!

        • See Publications advisor, Ms. Camargo, in room 54 to see if you have funds available to apply to your yearbook purchase. 

          • The remaining amount will need to be paid with cash or check.

SENIORS- CAP AND GOWN ORDERS

If you have not yet purchased your cap and gown for graduation, please stop by the ASB office so that we may help you with your order.  We have limited sizes and colors available for immediate purchase.  If we place an order, we will need to allow time for shipping.   Cost of the gown set is 35.00 and if paying for a gown is an issue, please let us know so that we may help.

RELEASE TIMES   

BOYS FOOTBALL: 
The Football Program is looking for Team Managers for this upcoming season. If you are interested, please see Mr. Landy in room 94 for more information.

GIRLS FOOTBALL:
Attention all girls interested in participating in flag football next year! Conditioning will take place in the new gym at 4:30 pm beginning Monday, May 20th. Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes to be able to run and workout! If you have any questions, please see Mr. Wise in the counseling center. 


BOYS WRESTLING:
Students and staff, join Brawley Wrestling for the third annual Brawley Wrestling Summer Camp BBQ fundraiser coming up on May 25th from 11AM to 2PM! This event will help raise funds to once again bring college wrestling coaches and All-Americans from multiple levels right here to Brawley High to train and mentor our wrestlers. Tickets are just $15 each! Talk to your nearest wrestler or contact Coach Smith if interested in buying tickets. Get your tickets soon and mark your calendars for great food and a great cause.  Ticket money is due Friday, May 17th

Wrestlers interested in attending camp please see Coach Smith for tickets.

Juniors and Seniors - if you plan to take the ACT or SAT this spring and want some online prep to get ready for the test, please email Ms. Munguia at bmunguia@brawleyhigh.org.  She can give you access to prep lessons in albert.io if you don't already have access.

Seniors:  Local scholarship applications are starting to come in.  Please make sure to look at the scholarship page on our school website at least once a week.  You can access the page at BUHS Scholarship Page If you have questions on any scholarship, please do not hesitate to email Ms. Castro at vcastro@brawleyhigh.org or come see me in the counseling center.
