Please make sure to look at posted deadlines and make sure to read on the application if you must mail or deliver it directly to their organization or office address. The only scholarships that will be collected in the counseling center are the ones that give you that option.

Justin Denault Memorial Scholarship
The purpose of this scholarship is to honor the memory of our beloved Justin Denault. Justin was the son of two Blue Knights members;therefore, law enforcement was engrained in his blood as well as their love for motorcycle riding. Justin's legacy of love, respect for others and pursuit of higher education are the values that we would like to honor and seek in the leaders of tomorrow.
The Blue Knights International-Chapter X, El Centro, CA will make available (1) $1,000 dollar academic scholarship for students in the law enforcement field. Since we are a law enforcement organization, scholarships may also be applied for the attendance to a basic law enforcement academy.
Applications must be returned via email or mail to the Scholarship Committee no later than May 15, 2023. The applicants selected will be notified by phone and email. Blue Knights International Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club Scholarship
Realizing that the youth of today will be the future of tomorrow, the purpose of this scholarship is to assist with the continued education and further development of those potential leaders. Blue Knights International - El Centro, CA will make available (2) $500 dollar academic scholarships for students in the law enforcement field. Since we are a law enforcement organization, scholarships may also be applied to attend a basic law enforcement academy.

Myers Family Scholarship
This scholarship is open to BUHS graduating Seniors. Two $1000.00 scholarships will be awarded. Students must attend a four-year university next Fall. Scholarship winners will be awarded the scholarship upon the receipt of proof of enrollment from their chosen school. CMWF Heritage Foundation Educational Scholarship
CMWF Heritage Foundation is offering scholarships to residents of Imperial County who have chosen a field of study in continuing their education in technology school, trade school or a two‐year college. The applicant’s interest will be in welding, agricultural mechanical, electrical, livestock, auctioneering, agricultural business or other similar fields. Applicants must be enrolled or have been enrolled in Future Farmers of America (FFA), 4H, and Independent or ROP program.

One $1,000 scholarship is specifically for a graduating senior high school student and with an interest in the field of agriculture including Ag Business, agronomy, entomology, soils, or related fields with the objective of a career in pest management, agronomy, plant breeding or farming. The CAA Youth Scholarship Program offers a total of $25,000 in funds to children of active duty law enforcement and fire service personnel in the State of California who are graduating from high school in 2023. Hagan Scholarship Foundation
The Hagan Scholarship is a nationwide need-based merit scholarship, providing recipients with the opportunity to graduate college debt-free. The scholarship provides up to $7,500 each semester for up to eight (8) consecutive semesters. Republic Services Education Scholarship 2023
Three $1,000 scholarships will be awarded this year to Brawley Union High School students as part of the 2023 Republic Services Education Scholarship. The 2023 Republic Services of Imperial Valley Scholarship is designed to promote student achievement by providing scholarships to students who show interest in attending a two-year community college, technical education school or university. PEO Chapter WU Scholarship
This scholarship is open to senior girls who might begin their college studies at IVC and then transfer to a 4 year university to complete their studies. The applicant must have at least a cumulative 3.5 GPA to apply. Special consideration is given to a young woman who will be the first in her family to attend college. Munguia Math Scholarship 2023
Mr. & Mrs. Munguia have been giving a scholarship to high school Seniors since 2006 and have focused on students who have excelled in mathematics at BUHS and are enrolled in or completed AP Calculus or AP Statistics. We encourage students who are planning on continuing their studies at a university or community college to apply. Although the recipient does not have to be focusing on math in college, we'd like for you to talk about the importance that math has had in your life so far and how it will help you in your studies and career in the future.

2023 Brawley FFA Booster Club Scholarship
Scholarships will be awarded to Brawley Union High School Seniors in recognition of service, leadership, and academics, for the purpose of encouraging the recipients to continue their education at a career technical school, junior college or 4-year university. Open to Brawley High School seniors that will be attending college full-time in the Fall & with a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average & minimum of 1 year of attendance in Brawley FFA.

Brawley Elementary Teachers' Association 2023 Scholarships
B.E.T.A. is offering scholarships of $300, to students attending BUHS. Students must have attended Brawley Elementary public schools (K-8). Frankie L. Chavez Memorial Scholarship 2023
Our Son Frankie and his friend Nathan Mata lost their lives in a tragic automoblile accident on December 4, 1993 when another driver ran a stop sign. Frankie had just graduated BUHS and had enrolled at IVC. As parents who have experienced the loss of a vibrant and active teenager, we felt the best way to keep our son's memory alive is by doing something positive for graduating high school seniors. Soon after with the help of family and friends we started this scholarship foundation. For BUHS 2023 graduating Seniors with a target GPA of 2.5-3.8. Wildcat Women Scholarship
Wildcat Women Scholarship Foundation is an organization consisting of Brawley Union High School graduates and friends who are committed to promoting equity in education by annually offering scholarships to senior women from the Brawley Union High School District. This year, the Wildcat Women Scholarship Foundation will award four (4) scholarships of $1,000 each to BUHS or Desert Valley High School senior women with a GPA of 2.2 or better. Senior women meeting this requirement are encouraged to apply. Eligible senior women interested in applying for the scholarships must complete the Wildcat Women Scholarship Foundation Application. ICOE Foundation for Education Scholarships
The Foundation for Education is accepting applications for $500 scholarships to:
· Students in alternative education/continuation schools, and/or
· Students with special needs who will attend a career technical school, community college, or university in Fall 2023.
Last year, the Foundation for Education awarded twenty $500 scholarships.
Students who wish to apply may submit a personal essay or a video, along with a completed application, two letters of recommendation, and their high school transcript.

Imperial Valley Kennel Club Scholarship
The Imperial Valley Kennel Club, a licensed officiate of the American Kennel Club annually provides scholarships to Imperial Valley students. The individual amount has varied from $200 to $1,000. 2023 Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarship
The 2023 Jackie Robinson Foundation (JRF) scholarship application is now open! Please share this flyer with your network.
JRF Scholars receive grants of up to $30,000 over four years to supplement the financial aid they receive from their colleges or universities. In addition, Scholars receive extensive support services, including career guidance and internship placement, and attend JRF’s annual four-day "Mentoring and Leadership Conference" in New York City and other regional events throughout the year.

A.W. Bodine-Sunkist Memorial Foundation Scholarship
We excited to share that The A.W. Bodine-Sunkist Memorial Foundation Scholarship is now accepting applications for the 2023-2024 school year. The A.W. Bodine-Sunkist Memorial Foundation awards scholarships to students with a personal or family involvement in Arizona or California agriculture.
Established in 1985, the A.W. Bodine-Sunkist Memorial Foundation has awarded nearly 300 scholarships over the years — all of which have been presented to students connected to the farming industry, including many of whom are the first in their families to attend college.
The A.W. Bodine-Sunkist Memorial Foundation honors the memory of former Sunkist Director Arthur W. Bodine. Sunkist is proud to play a role in the success of these outstanding students. The number of recipients varies each year, with selection based on factors such as financial need, GPA, recommendations and an essay. If you or someone you know meets the agricultural, academic and financial requirements and would like to apply, please encourage them to do so.
All applicants must be high school seniors planning on entering college in 2023 or currently enrolled in college as an undergrad. Applications must be received by December 15, 2022.

Reminder that the deadline for the Youth Awards educational grants program is this Sunday, November 13th, at 11:59 PM ET.
Our 24th Annual Youth Awards will award students who are in the graduating Class of 2023 (current high school seniors) with up to $4000 in educational grants to fund their higher education or to fund a community-based project.

This scholarship is open to BUHS graduating Seniors. Two $1000.00 scholarships will be awarded. Students must attend a four-year university next Fall. Munguia Math Scholarship 2022
Mr. & Mrs. Munguia have been giving a scholarship to high school Seniors since 2006 and have focused on students who have excelled in mathematics at BUHS and are enrolled in or completed AP Calculus or AP Statistics. We encourage students who are planning on continuing their studies at a university or community college to apply. Scholarships will be awarded to Brawley Union High School Seniors who are currently in FFA in recognition of service, leadership, and academics, for the purpose of encouraging the recipients to continue their education at a career technical school, junior college or 4-year university. Frankie L. Chavez Memorial Scholarship
Our son Frankie and his friend Nathan Mata lost their lives in a tragic automobile accident on December 4, 1993 when another driver ran a stop sign. Frankie had just graduated BUHS and had enrolled at IVC. As parents who have experienced the loss of a vibrant and active teenager, we felt the best way to keep our son's memory alive is by doing something positive for graduating high school seniors. Soon after with the help of family and friends we started this scholarship foundation. To apply you must be a 2022 Graduate from Brawley Union High School with a target GPA of 2.0 - 3.6. Making A Difference Foundation (MADF) is a nonprofit, charitable organization with the mission to make a difference in the lives of others, one person at a time. We understand the challenges that students may face to gain access to higher education. At MADF, we want to help relieve some of the financial burden by offering scholarships to students who demonstrate a financial need and who are persistent in achieving their educational goals.
Purpose
MADF believes that education is the greatest equalizer. We make a difference in education by providing scholarships. We also partner with schools, non-profits, churches, and other organizations by making financial contributions to their educational programs.
Award
We are awarding up to 10 scholarships. The students selected by The MADF Scholarship Selection Committee will be awarded a $1,500 scholarship to apply towards college expenses. Previous scholarship awardees can apply annually up to a maximum of 4 years. Applications are due May 31, 2022.

Italian Catholic Federation Scholarship
The Italian Catholic Federation offers college scholarships to further the education of students who achieve a total cumulative GPA(3 1/2 years) of at least a 3.2 and meet all the requirements in either #1 or #2: 1) Are Roman Catholic and of Italian Descent and live within the Roman Catholic Dioceses of Arizona, California, Illinois, and Nevada, only where branches of the Federation are established, or 2) if either Roman Catholic parent, guardian or grandparent is a member of the Italian Catholic Federation, the student must be Roman Catholic but need not be of Italian Descent or live where Branches of the Federation are established - membership of a Roman Catholic parent, guardian, or grandparent is mandatory for #2. Brad Fowler Memorial Scholarship
Good afternoon,
Please make your students aware of the Brad Fowler Memorial Scholarship, a unique scholarship opportunity made available by the San Diego Sports Association. I encourage you to share this letter with coaches, teachers and counselors who can open a door for students by encouraging them to apply.
The Brad Fowler Memorial Scholarship offers a $6,000 scholarship to at least five high school seniors in San Diego County. A second scholarship of $6,000 can also be earned, provided the recipient remains in good academic standing following the first year of college, for a total possible scholarship award of $12,000. Additionally, scholarship recipients will receive a laptop computer from Computers to Kids San Diego.
Nominees must have demonstrated an ability to overcome personal obstacles associated with drugs or alcohol, a strong commitment to athletics and a desire to continue personal growth and development through higher education. There is no minimum GPA requirement, but academic growth will be considered.
The following is a description of the scholarship, nomination criteria and submission process.
Description:
One-year scholarship for $6,000 for the 2022-2023 school year
Scholarship recipients who remain in academic standing following their first year of college will earn an additional $6,000 scholarship for their second year of college
Eligible expenses include college tuition, books and on-campus housing
Recipients will maintain periodic communication with the SDSA, to report on their progress
Nomination Criteria:
High school senior who will enroll in either a two- or four-year college
Has overcome personal obstacles and troubles in life associated with drugs or alcohol
Demonstrated athletic achievement and participation in organized sports
Demonstrated leadership ability and demonstrated personal responsibility
Demonstrated academic growth
Demonstrated financial need
Has a strong commitment to setting and reaching life goals
Submission process:
All submissions must include: the completed application form, a copy of the student’s high school transcript and at least one letter of recommendation from a teacher, coach or counselor. The letter of recommendation should attest to why the nominee’s behavior, attitude, desire and character warrant this scholarship.
All nominations should be submitted by a coach, teacher, counselor or administrator.

My name is Susan Newland and I am writing to you on behalf of P. E. O. Chapter GW. We are a women's organization whose focus is to raise money for scholarships for women. The P. E. O. organization is an international group with chapters in the United States and Canada.
We would like to make you aware of the P. E. O. California State Chapter Scholarships that are available to you. The scholarships for the academic year 2022-2023 have recently been posted. The completed applications are due on or before January 15, 2022.
There are four different categories from which to apply:
