NEW INFORMATION:
National School Psychology Week
November 9–13, 2026
This week, Brawley Union High School District proudly celebrates National School Psychology Week and recognizes the invaluable contributions of our school psychologists!

School psychologists play an essential role in supporting students' academic success, social-emotional well-being, and overall development. Through collaboration, advocacy, assessment, and intervention, they help ensure that all students have the support and opportunities they need to thrive.

A special thank you to our dedicated school psychologists, Ruby Cato, Chip Raczka and Evelyn Perez! Your compassion, expertise, advocacy, and unwavering commitment to our students, families, and staff make a meaningful difference every day.

Please join us in recognizing and celebrating our school psychologists for all that they do!
Happy National School Psychology Week! 💙

Winter Sports Clearance Information: Basketball, Soccer, and Wrestling

Sports Clearance during lunch and after school only in the ASB Office or Ms. Munguia.
The Winter Season starts on Saturday, November 7th. BUHS practices will probably start the week of November 9th.

Winter Sports are Basketball (Boys & Girls), Soccer (Boys & Girls), & Wrestling (Boys & Girls).

More information about tryouts will be sent later this month.
Here are some details about Winter Sports Clearance.

Tickets To Play

In order to practice and try out on the first day, ALL athletes must have their Ticket to Play.

Students should NOT leave class to clear.  They will be turned away.

If you are playing a Fall Sport, you need a new Ticket To Play for your Winter Sport.

Before you can pick up your ticket, you must complete your online registration at www.registermyathlete.com. If you already completed registration, log back in to make sure there is a ✅GREEN CHECK MARK next to the Winter Sport you want to play.

If you need to do your Medical Clearance physical, you must use the BUHS Medical form.  There are forms outside of Mr. Brewer’s Office in the New Gym.

ELIGIBILITY

Students must be eligible with Academics, Attendance, and Discipline.  We ask all students and parents to log into Aeries and check the ELIGIBILITY TAB to see if you are ok.  You cannot access this screen from the app . . . you have to log in from an internet browser.

If you owe any hours or your attendance is low, we encourage you to attend the Saturday Academies.

The most common ways students get hours are UNEXCUSED ABSENCES, TARDIES, CELL PHONES, and DRESS CODE.

If you have any questions about athletics, please reach out to Mr. Billy Brewer at bbrewer@brawleyhigh.org.

If you have questions regarding eligibility, please contact your child’s counselor.

Thank you.
