SPORTS RELEASE:

Here are some details about Winter Sports Clearance.
Winter Sports are Girls & Boys Basketball, Girls & Boys Soccer, and Girls & Boys Wrestling.

BLUE TICKETS TO PLAY
In order to practice and try out on the first day, ALL athletes must have their Blue Ticket to Play.
Students can pick up their tickets to play starting Monday, November 3rd in the ASB Office or Ms. Munguia's Office.
Before you can pick up your ticket, you must complete your online registration at www.registermyathlete.com.
Every athlete needs medical clearance from a doctor to play.  If you do not have your medical clearance yet for this year, you can pick up the Medical Clearance form outside of Mr. Brewer's Office in the New Gym. It must be completed and signed by the doctor and the parent.

ELIGIBILITY
We encourage students and parents to check the ELIGIBILITY Tab in the Aeries Portal for Academics, Attendance, and Behavior.  (You can see this portal tab when you're on the Chromebook or computer. It is not on the phone app.)
If your child needs to increase their Attendance Percentage or serve any hours, there are two more Saturday Academies: October 25th and November 1st.  We encourage your child to attend if needed. There is also after-school detention.

TRY OUT DATES
Coaches will post Try-Out Dates & Times in the Weekly Updates toward the end of October.  Read the Weekly Updates or talk with Mr. Brewer, the Athletic Director, for more information.

If you have any questions about athletics, please reach out to Mr. Brewer or your counselor.  Thank you.
