Desert Valley High School seniors recently showcased their hard work and future aspirations through their Senior Portfolio presentations, a major component of their final exams. Each project highlights a student’s personal achievements, post‑graduation plans, and the steps they intend to take to reach their goals. Through research, writing, and self‑reflection, students gain a deeper understanding of their interests, passions, and the pathways available to them after high school.

After completing their portfolios, students presented their work before a panel of judges that included teachers, administrators, and school board members. Classmates were also invited to watch, giving seniors the valuable experience of presenting in front of both adults and peers. Judges evaluated students on their presentation skills, confidence, and overall delivery.

The purpose of the Senior Portfolio project is to help students clarify their goals and build the skills needed to pursue them. With some seniors preparing to graduate in December and others in June, this milestone marks an important step toward their futures.

Principal Martin Levay shared his enthusiasm for the event, noting, “These presentations are great for our students as they get to develop their public speaking skills and do some career exploration"
