STUDENTS- Stay safe on our streets and be aware when crossing the street. A reminder to look up and look both ways before crossing. Cars don't always stop or expect someone crossing the street in areas other than the crosswalk. Please use designated crosswalks.

The parking on "C" street by the band and wrestling area is designated only for busses and school vans.

This week we will be hosting our Migrant Education Program Parent Meeting on Wednesday, January 21st at 5:30 PM in the cafeteria. We will have a special guest, Mrs. Zuno, sharing important information. We hope you can join us! Migrant Education Program
CSF CLUB: All Students. If you earned good grades first semester you might qualify for the CSF Club. See Mr. Martinez in room 71 for information and an application. Enrollment will end January 30th.

SPRING SPORTS:
Softball: Softball Tryouts for the upcoming season will be held on Saturday, February 14th for ALL levels starting at 10:00 a.m. at the varsity softball field.
All student-athletes must be cleared to participate.
Get your physicals completed if you have not done so already. Complete the register my athlete process to be cleared to try out and if you have any questions you see Mr. Brewer in the gym.
See Mrs. Munguia or Val in the ASB office to receive your clearance card.
If you are participating in a winter sport please contact Coach Kerns at (760) 791-1817 to make arrangements to try out after the completion of your season.
Swimmers: There will be a swim team meeting in Mrs. Cruz's classroom (Room 90 across the street by FFA) after school on Wednesday, January 21, 2026. The meeting will start at 3:10pm. Please don't be late. Spread the word.

Rotary 4-way Speech Contest 2026
If you are a talented public speaker, the Rotary 4-Way Test Speech Contest is for you! If you are interested in participating in this competition, please complete the Google Form. Grades 10-12!
The Google Form deadline is Monday, January 26, 2026. The Brawley competition will be held on February 4, 2026, at the Brawley Stockman’s Club. After you complete the Google Form Counselor Ruben Felix will contact you with further details.

Students may redeem their PBIS points for a cap and gown. If they redeem their PBIS points, they will need to go to the PBIS Store and pick up their certificate to give to Mr. Honnold.
