On March 30, Brawley Union High School junior Aubrey Cazares achieved a remarkable milestone, being elected to serve as the Southern Region FFA Imperial Section Vice President. This accomplishment marks the first time in more than a decade that a BUHS student has been selected to serve as a Southern Region FFA officer—an achievement that reflects both her leadership and dedication. Aubrey’s commitment to stepping into this role demonstrates our school’s core value of Responsibility in action.

Cazares will hold multiple leadership roles during the 2026–27 school year, serving as Imperial Section FFA President, Southern Region FFA Vice President and Brawley FFA Chapter Vice President.

The Southern Region represents FFA members from Imperial, High Desert, Orange, Riverside and San Diego.. Serving at this level is a significant honor and responsibility, as regional officers help lead conferences, trainings, and events for FFA members.

Her achievements highlight the strength of Brawley FFA and the dedication of its student leaders. The district is incredibly proud of Aubrey’s accomplishments and looks forward to the impact she will make in the coming year.
