Brawley Union High School’s student section, “The Wildside,” has been named the 2025-2026 Battle of the Fans Southeastern Conference Champion, marking the program’s fourth consecutive title. The CIF San Diego Section includes 130 schools across eight conferences and recognizes student sections that demonstrate exceptional spirit, support, and sportsmanship across Imperial and San Diego counties.
The Battle of the Fans program challenges schools to showcase the most spirited, supportive, and positive student sections while modeling the principles of Pursuing Victory with Honor. The student section provides support for athletes across Fall, Winter, and Spring sports, actively includes diverse student groups, encourages staff participation, and promotes a fun, respectful, and inclusive game‑day environment. Participating schools are encouraged to be loud, positive, creative, and respectful, with sportsmanship, inclusion, and service serving as essential components of success.
